This is an example of a Silverlight player with an HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) fallback. HLS will playback in an IOS browser (iPhone, iPad) without any additional plugins. It is not officially part of the HTML5 spec draft.

The above example includes video encoded in three different formats in support of all HTML5 video browsers (The formats are: mp4, webm, and Ogg). As such, this video should playback in any browser that supports HTML5 without having any other plugins installed.
